Not that I need to defend the commentary, which is so overblown that after watching that I had to go help rebuild southern Florida, but the body language really speaks for itself. TV news is full of empty-skulled windbags who don’t know when to shut up.
And in (mild) defense of George, it was later explained he was looking for his mark on the stage, which completely explains his posture. But of course, knowing that makes him look like the asshole that wouldn’t shake anyone’s hand, or in the very kindest interpretation, that he’s the kind of guy who can’t do two things at once.
And yes, I’m two weeks late making these points. Been busy.
